I have promised myself lately to share a little bit more about me and my life on my blog so that all of you (my past, present, and future customers) can get to know me a bit more! This past week we had a gender reveal party for our new little munchkin arriving in December. We already knew the gender because I am impatient and could never wait until the party. We invited a lot of our close friends and had a really fun time.
I tried to keep this party as casual as possible since I tend to go overboard with decorating and the like. The theme was “What’s it gonna bee?”. For food, we did a baked potato bar which was a big hit! I will definitely do it again. It was so easy, fun, and tasty!
I ordered some cute little bee cupcakes from The Gluteny Bakery. They were delicious, gluten free, and all organic so I felt completely OK feeding them to the kiddos. I did all the floral arrangements because I love doing that, and we had HEB’s honey lemonade for a drink (this stuff is so good! If you haven’t tried it, you need to!)
For party favors, I bought some little jars and filled them with local raw Texas honey from Houston Farm to Home. My sister made the adorable little bee hive tags for me and the cute sign up above ^. I am thankful to have a sister who has a cricut machine and is willing to make cute things for me! For the reveal, we used these awesome confetti cannons from Superior Celebrations. These things were AMAZING! They produced so much confetti!
So time for the big reveal…..
Its a GIRL!!!! We are over the moon that Noelle will have a little sister to grow up with! We picked out a name already too. Our little munchkin is now officially Juliet Jane.
All and all it was a super fun party and I thank everyone who came. I have some wonderful friends that also brought some sweet gifts for me. I got this little sign from my friend Lisa and the gorgeous yellow roses from my friend Alli!
